Armed Robbery Suspect Apprehended By KZN VIP on Monday morning in the Phoenix Plaza Area.

KZN VIP Responded after receiving multiple calls for assistance where an African Male suspect armed with a knife had been robbing people. Upon arrival of Response Units the suspect fled and tried to hide in a local salon.

With the description being given a member of the community indicated that the suspect ran inside the salon, the suspect was apprehended and disarmed off the weapon. Some of the valuables were recovered on the suspect before he was handed over to the police.
