Durban Drowning

3 Confirmed Deceased Following A Mass Drowning/Near Drowning Incident at the Durbans North Beach in the Durban Cbd.

KZN VIP Together with other emergency services Responded to the scene where it's believed a freak wave swept a group of beachgoers against the pier causing multiple injuries.

Sadly 3 people including a teenager was amongst those who were declared deceased at the scene. Approximately 15 others sustained minor to moderate injuries and were treated by various ambulance services before being transported to hospital for further medical.

A big thank you to those life guards, Metro and other services who worked tirelessly to stabilize and save all the other victims. The beach was closed off
