Suspected Drunk Driver Overturns Minibus: Ottawa - KZN

A suspected drunk driver overturned a minibus taxi on Old Main Road in Ottawa - KZN. 

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the scene at approximately 05:06. On arrival, Reaction Officers located a white Toyota Quantum laying on its side. The driver informed Officers that he attempted to avoid two vehicle however witnesses claimed that he was speeding and failed to negotiate a bend. Neither version could be immediately verified. The man was the only occupant in the vehicle and did not sustain any injury. 

He was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and was handed over to Police for further investigation.
